The Year we all waited for …

Anticipated with breathlessness and excitement brimming beyond the surface .

Yes it came bearing surprises.. but not in parcels we recognized or anticipated !

2020 came with hunger 

It came with pain ,

It came with illness and overwhelmness..

It came with confusion and anxiety ;

We became shadows of ourselves !


We fought to live !

We fought to grow !

We fought to love !

We were brought to our knees willingly and unwillingly..

We planned but it disposed them

We wanted forever but it showed us life, love and everything was fleeting ..vanity upon vanity !

We loved but some got wrenched away from us 

We lost families 

We lost friends 

We lost our livelihoods 

We lost our hope and faith ..

Humanity became a race to live , to survive and we forgot to just breathe !

We forgot to create 

We forgot to just be 

We were Humbled 

We were reduced to our lowest 

We were brutalized for our honesty and need for answers 

Love did not conquer all

Prayers did not conquer all

Money could not conquer all 

Life laughed in our faces 

The winds bellowed in our faces 

The mountains showed its proud arrogance’s to us ..

We no longer felt in contol

We were no longer in control 

We were just holding on for our dear lives on this roller skater  of emotions running and pulling through our veins everyday in an unrecognizable feel day in , day out . 

We stopped feeling ..we barely breathed 

We stopped living .. we barely existed 

We stopped wanting .. just needing 

We became immortal to our pains and struggles and learnt that life was not to be planned at all

Just meant to be lived

2020 showed us that we were never in control 

And could never be 

It was just the supreme being that was always in control and we had to be shown that 

To be humbled once and for all

Else we may never learn this lessons till we are six feet’s under learning the hard way on the journey of no return 

Irrevocably forever 

And a day more !


31 days more to go 

Till we say goodbye 2020 ..

May we part to never meet no more 

As our paths are never the same 

Just a moment in time !

We can only hope for the future ..

We can never plan . Not anymore …

Lessons well learnt!

The V Dilemma

Yes I am 30 plus and I have never had sex. Don't know why everyone finds that so hard to believe. Like I am supposed to be lying about something that serious or true. Also, why do i have to lie or say the truth. It is what it is. A fact. It's neither the truth nor a lie.. Guess somethings' are just better left unsaid. This is why I never tell anyone anymore that I am a V cos then they ask u stupid questions. I am a virgin not naive or stupid. Also, some things just require u having a brain and making use of it. I am not stupid. I know that in this decade and century, it's very hard being a virgin and keeping a long lasting relationship.
