WHAT NO ONE IS REALLY SAYING ABOUT HAVING A BABY

As an African , many times than we can keep count.  we hear our parents say when are you giving me a baby ?.  I want a grand daughter or a grand son . I am getting older . I want to see them before I die but it’s not only because of them we go ahead to have kids . We have kids to fulfill some righteous notion that we also can be parents. Some of us do because of our religion. While some are parents by mistakes , many are parents by choice . Why? Cos why not really ? Unless of cos you think of all what happens to your sex life and your really cool single life when you have a baby 😂 I can think of one million reasons to not have a kid and we still think of a thousand and one reasons to have one . Which are kids are so adorable as babies as well as a blessing and it’s really cute to have a mini me of yourself or your husband. But what does it really mean to have one .  As a woman, your body is never the same after childbirth .  I have read countless posts about ...

2.0.2.0

2.0 2.0 The Year we all waited for … Anticipated with breathlessness and excitement brimming beyond the surface . Yes it came bearing surprises.. but not in parcels we recognized or anticipated ! 2020 came with hunger  It came with pain , It came with illness and overwhelmness.. It came with confusion and anxiety ; We became shadows of ourselves ! We fought to live ! We fought to grow ! We fought to love ! We were brought to our knees willingly and unwillingly.. We planned but it disposed them We wanted forever but it showed us life, love and everything was fleeting ..vanity upon vanity ! We loved but some got wrenched away from us  We lost families  We lost friends  We lost our livelihoods  We lost our hope and faith .. Humanity became a race to live , to survive and we forgot to just breathe ! We forgot to create  We forgot to just be  We were Humbled  We were reduced to our lowest  We were brutalized for our honesty and need for ans...
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is characterized by mild symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fever. Illness can be more severe for some people and can lead to pneumonia or breathing difficulties. More rarely, the disease can be fatal. Older people, and people with other medical conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease), may be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill. People may experience: 1) runny nose 2) sore throat 3) cough 4) fever 5) difficulty breathing (severe cases) What we do know is that the elderly and the young ( children especially ) are more susceptible to infection due to their immune systems which are not so strong. Scientists from a new research in the United States and Singapore say we can actually kill this virus if we all work together and follow these basic cleanliness rules and to educate others also. There’s a simple way to fight the new Coronavirus – STAY CLEAN No, this does not need you to start wear...

Hi guys ; hope you are having a lovely day so far and a church around your house is not trying to drown your thoughts with their noise like I am experiencing right now .    So a thought has been lingering in my mind for some days now and it has to do with being mindful. We have to admit 2019 rolled by pretty fast . To some of us , it was an okay year but not exemplary like we would have liked . Certainly felt like a roller coaster where we had to hold on for dear life . Now that we are in 2020.. we realize we cannot afford the complacency of 2019 to happen again this year . We have to be AWAKE! I have always been an extra curious person but i can also be impassive.  Impassive when I don’t care about someone or that thing ! I can be an all or nothing kind of person! My curiosity is always piqued more when I notice some qualities about a person and I am hoping my assumptions about them are either true or false. That’s when I get extra inquisit...
