A cold Sunday Morning

Its a cold sunday morning and as usual PHCN has restored their yeye power. Feeling very motivated this morning and i think i may retain this tempo till the week runs out. I stretch and yawn then realize i am no more feeling as sleepy as i was when i woke up to observe fajr (Morning prayer).
As a muslim, you have to get up around 5-5:30 to pray no matter how tired you are.

That is the only way to thank your God for making you see the light of another day 😊.
Also isn't it just in our DNA as Africans to be religious? We pray and fast all the time like we killed Jesus christ ..but fail to act right or do the right thing so that things can take its natural course. Enough of my wandering thoughts as i am jolted back to my surroundings with the very loud noise of my neighbours generator. You see this is my third month living here and i do not think i could ever get used to it. Sounds like the size for a factory...but hey, this is Naija. Where everyone is either too selfish to care or too frustrated with their problems to notice your own discomfort.
Its a sunday Morning and i still get no real rest or at least good early morning meditation. I think about how we die like chickens everyday. Living in Nigeria is like sitting on a time-bomb..it can go off anytime and poof...your life is over. So sad!

I wonder how we do it? We are so used to suffering and smilng like the great Legend Fela said. He sang then in the 70's about this and 2018, still no steady electricity power or any feasible plan by our so called RULERS..( i call them rulers cos they do and undo with no regards for our feelings and are ) only reasonable when ELECTIONS are near and approaching.
I think about how all young ones all wanna run away to another man's land all the time. Its showing also that we have lost almost all our talents and brilliance to developed countries. I never want to go into politics but somehow i end up there. It just irks me so much that a country that is so blessed both with good weather/climate, abundance of natural resources and incredibly smart and intelligent people is living like this. The last pitiful incident was the trailer explosion at Otedola again killing over 140 people. You see in Nigeria we die stupid avoidable deaths. Deaths that could have been avoided...and why is this? CORRUPTION!
I am sorry i sound so bitter but just look at how so many lives were taken forcibly from them on that friday(just two weeks back) and no one has come out to demand from govt why the so called Tankers and trailers still prowl during d day. So u see..Nigerians themselves do not like ourselves. We keep letting them treat us like shit while we kiss our Pastors and Imams asses . Who i must say by d way endorse and pray for this THIEVES. Its a sad sad occurence that must stop..if only we can get our faces from far under these so called RELIGIOUS CLERICS butts where it is stuck so that we can live better lives and stop EXISTING. Our future generations need us. Afterall we cannot continue to live in fear for our lives...and we all know all GREAT things in life is on the otherside of FEAR if u can but only seize d bull by the horns.
I remember when i started this blog ...i really wanted to help people deal with whatever is bothering them...esp women. Some things just need to be said. Have a lovely day ahead. Mine is just getting started.
